About Us

Capital City Bikers Church is the Second Oldest Biker Church in Canada and is one of the first of its inception worldwide, having been established in early 2002.

The original concept of a place for bikers to find New Life in Christ was birthed in the heart of our Founder, Garner “Hillbilly” Foster. Having come out of the “Scooter Trash” Biker Culture, a rough background fraught with addictions and criminal activity, Hillbilly found New Life in Christ in 1997.

Our first church location was a storefront warehouse in an industrial district of Ottawa South. This environment would serve as a template for the future with its “Clubhouse” atmosphere, complete with a bar (non-alcohol) pool table, lounge area and a full on electric blues-rock house band.

Capital City Bikers Church hosts the largest Motorcycle Swap Meet in Eastern Canada with an average attendance of over 3000 local Bikers occupying over 20 000 sq ft of vendor space.

We host an Annual Motorcycle Rodeo & Roast and have facilitated umpteen Motorcycle Rodeos & Field Games for local Motorcycle Rallies and Biker Parties. We also have a large volunteer base that serves at most local Motorcycle Events in whatever capacity is requested.

In mid 2011 we moved into our now permanent home; the heart of Vanier in Ottawa’s East End. Rich with Biker history, Vanier has proved to be a most welcoming district and we are blessed to serve this community. We own a 30 000 sq-ft facility complete with a 60 foot long bar (non-alcohol) in our sanctuary, pool table-games area, in house band, Lounge and Tavern table seating with a weekly average attendance of 200+ at our Thursday night Bikers Church worship service.

We are also proud to serve the community of Vanier through our weekly Drop-In and bi-monthly Free Store that combined, serve over several hundred local residents with shelter, hot meals, clothing, household items and counselling services.
